कांग्रेस सांसद इमरान मसूद ने सेंट्रल विस्टा प्रोजेक्ट के तहत पुरानी मस्जिद को हटाने के सरकारी प्रस्ताव पर गहरी चिंता जताई है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह कदम देश में आस्थाओं से खिलवाड़ है और देश के धर्मनिरपेक्ष चरित्र को प्रभावित करेगा। मसूद ने सरकार से सवाल किया कि अगर बाद में मंदिरों को गिराने का आदेश दिया गया तो क्या होगा। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि सभी समुदायों के लिए कानून एक जैसे होने चाहिए, और बताया कि हर पुलिस स्टेशन इलाके में मंदिर मौजूद हैं।
