पंजाब में सभी मानसिक स्वास्थ्य संस्थानों के लिए पंजीकरण अनिवार्य स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने जारी किया आदेश

पंजाब के स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने यह अनिवार्य कर दिया है कि राज्य के सभी मानसिक स्वास्थ्य संस्थानों को मानसिक स्वास्थ्य सेवा अधिनियम, 2017 के तहत राज्य मानसिक स्वास्थ्य प्राधिकरण (SMHA) के साथ पंजीकरण कराना होगा। यह निर्देश सरकारी, निजी और गैर-सरकारी संस्थाओं पर लागू होता है, जिनमें अस्पताल, क्लीनिक, ट्रस्ट और सोसायटी शामिल हैं। पंजीकरण का उद्देश्य अधिनियम के प्रभावी कार्यान्वयन को सुनिश्चित करना और मानसिक बीमारी वाले व्यक्तियों के अधिकारों और गरिमा की रक्षा करना है। इन वैधानिक आवश्यकताओं का पालन न करने पर निर्दिष्ट अधिनियम और उसके नियमों के तहत कानूनी कार्रवाई की जा सकती है।
