The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has dismissed social media claims that several world leaders fell ill after attending the BRICS summit in New Delhi. The MEA's fact-check unit labelled these posts as "Fake Alert!!!" and warned against malicious content circulating online. These claims emerged amid speculation about the health of leaders like Chinese President Xi Jinping and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa following the summit held on September 12 and 13.
