The Youth Congress in Mangaluru organized an overnight protest in Ullal, demanding transparency in the SIR of electoral rolls and accountability from the Election Commission of India. The demonstration, titled ‘Janatantra Rakshanegagi Ahoraatri Dharani’, began Friday afternoon and concluded Saturday morning. District minister UT Khader joined, calling for the Election Commission chief Gyanesh Kumar's resignation and demanding an investigation into the alleged unauthorized sharing of voter data. Protesters emphasized the need for transparency and the protection of voting rights for all eligible citizens.

मंगलुरु में यूथ कांग्रेस ने चुनावी पर्चियों में पारदर्शिता और भारत के चुनाव आयोग से जवाबदेही की मांग को लेकर यूएलएल में रात भर प्रदर्शन किया। 'जनतंत्र रक्षणेगागी अहोरात्री धरणी' नामक यह प्रदर्शन शुक्रवार दोपहर शुरू हुआ और शनिवार सुबह समाप्त हुआ। जिला मंत्री यूटी खादर भी शामिल हुए, जिन्होंने चुनाव आयोग के प्रमुख ज्ञानेश कुमार के इस्तीफे की मांग की और कथित तौर पर मतदाता डेटा के अनधिकृत साझाकरण की जांच की मांग की। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने सभी योग्य नागरिकों के लिए पारदर्शिता और मतदान के अधिकारों की सुरक्षा की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया।
