SpaceX's Starship successfully reached orbit for the first time during its 14th test flight, deploying 26 Starlink satellites. The mission, intended to orbit Earth, was cut short by a thruster malfunction about three hours into its planned ten-hour flight. Starship was then directed to land in the Pacific Ocean near Hawaii, where it exploded. Despite the early end and subsequent destruction, reaching orbit and deploying satellites mark significant achievements for the reusable rocket system.
