Consumer Court Orders Rs 25,000 Payout for Persistent Hero Bike Issues

A motorcycle owner has been awarded compensation after his Hero Glamour BS6 bike experienced continuous problems with its engine, pickup, and electrical system, including battery issues. Despite multiple service visits and part replacements under warranty, the recurring issues persisted, leading the consumer commission to find a deficiency in service. The dealer and service centre were ordered to repair the bike and pay Rs 15,000 for inconvenience and Rs 10,000 for litigation costs.

एक मोटरसाइकिल मालिक को उसके Hero Glamour BS6 बाइक में लगातार आ रही इंजन, पिकअप और इलेक्ट्रिकल सिस्टम (बैटरी की समस्या सहित) की दिक्कतों के बाद हर्जाना मिला है। वारंटी के तहत कई बार सर्विस कराने और पार्ट्स बदलने के बावजूद समस्याएँ बनी रहीं, जिस पर कंज्यूमर कमीशन ने सेवा में कमी पाई। डीलर और सर्विस सेंटर को बाइक ठीक करने और असुविधा के लिए 15,000 रुपये और मुकदमेबाजी के खर्च के लिए 10,000 रुपये देने का आदेश दिया गया है।
