Fernando Alonso expressed significant frustration during the Singapore Grand Prix after Max Verstappen's pit stop negatively impacted his race. Alonso had allowed Verstappen to pass but was angered when the Red Bull driver pitted just corners later, costing him valuable time. He estimated losing two seconds, which he felt would take twenty laps to recover. Alonso was heard shouting over the radio about the lost pace. Despite this, he managed to finish ahead of Sergio Perez, though he was a lap behind Verstappen.
