India Captain Shreyas Iyer Blames Dew After West Indies Chase Down 249

Times of India · sports

India captain Shreyas Iyer attributed the team's defeat in the second T20I to heavy dew and a batter-friendly pitch, which made defending a score of 249 extremely difficult. West Indies successfully chased the target with nine balls to spare, winning by six wickets to level the five-match series. Iyer praised the West Indies batters, particularly Shai Hope and Sherfane Rutherford, for their exceptional performances. Hope scored an unbeaten 102, while Rutherford contributed 84 runs, with their partnership being crucial in turning the game.
