MP Govt Approves 20% Quota For Ex-Agniveers

The Madhya Pradesh government has approved a 20% reservation for ex-Agniveers in the state's uniformed services. This decision, taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, fulfills a commitment made earlier this year. The reservation will apply to recruitment in the police, Special Armed Force, jail, forest, and excise departments. This move aims to create new livelihood opportunities for youth who complete their mandatory service under the Agnipath scheme. Existing reservations for home guards and ex-servicemen will continue separately.

मध्य प्रदेश सरकार ने राज्य की वर्दीधारी सेवाओं में पूर्व अग्निवीरों के लिए 20% आरक्षण को मंजूरी दे दी है। मुख्यमंत्री मोहन यादव की अध्यक्षता में हुई कैबिनेट बैठक में लिए गए इस फैसले से इस साल की शुरुआत में की गई एक प्रतिबद्धता पूरी हुई है। यह आरक्षण पुलिस, विशेष सशस्त्र बल, जेल, वन और आबकारी विभागों में भर्ती पर लागू होगा। इस कदम का उद्देश्य 'अग्निपथ' योजना के तहत अपनी अनिवार्य सेवा पूरी करने वाले युवाओं के लिए आजीविका के नए अवसर पैदा करना है। होमगार्ड और पूर्व सैनिकों के लिए मौजूदा आरक्षण अलग से जारी रहेगा।
