Business Standard · stocks

Bank of Baroda shares dropped 3.4% to an intraday low of ₹230.40, making it the top loser among PSU banks. The decline follows a lawsuit filed in the Bombay High Court seeking $15 billion in damages. B R Shetty alleges the bank and former executives enabled fund diversion and concealed liabilities. Bank of Baroda stated it has not been served with the suit and will defend itself vigorously if it is. Despite this, brokerages anticipate double-digit profit growth for the bank in Q2.
