Tirupattur Collector Inaugurates New High-Level Bridge Across Pambaru River

A new high-level bridge across the Pambaru river in Tirupattur district has been opened for public use, fulfilling a long-standing demand of 13 farming villages. Built at a cost of ₹2.48 crore, the 29.19-metre-long bridge replaces a dilapidated causeway washed away in 2021 floods. It will significantly reduce travel time by at least 10 kms for residents of Tirupattur, Dharmapuri, and Krishnagiri districts, providing easier access to towns and essential services. The bridge is designed to withstand floods and features modern amenities like LED lights and tiled footpaths.

तिरुपत्तूर जिले में पम्बारु नदी पर एक नया हाई-लेवल पुल आम जनता के लिए खोल दिया गया है, जिससे 13 गांवों की लंबे समय से चली आ रही मांग पूरी हुई है। ₹2.48 करोड़ की लागत से बना यह 29.19 मीटर लंबा पुल 2021 की बाढ़ में बह गए एक पुराने कॉजवे की जगह लेगा। इससे तिरुपत्तूर, धर्मपुरी और कृष्णागिरी जिलों के निवासियों के लिए यात्रा का समय कम से कम 10 किलोमीटर कम हो जाएगा, जिससे शहरों और आवश्यक सेवाओं तक पहुंच आसान हो जाएगी। पुल को बाढ़ का सामना करने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है और इसमें LED लाइट और टाइल वाले फुटपाथ जैसी आधुनिक सुविधाएं हैं।
