Micro and Small Enterprises (MSMEs) are navigating a difficult period due to the West Asia conflict and escalating operational costs, according to S. Vasudevan, president of Tanstia. He highlighted that increased gas prices, raw material expenses, transportation, power, and labor costs are pressuring the sector. Vasudevan urged entrepreneurs to manage finances prudently and optimize efficiency for stability. P.N. Vasudevan of Equitas Small Finance Bank noted that many micro units, especially small traders, lack government scheme coverage and called for targeted support.
