Nautiyal previously served as the Personal Assistant to the BKTC chairman. The arrest follows an investigation into financial discrepancies within the temple committee's donation collection process.

श्री बद्रीनाथ-केदारनाथ मंदिर समिति (BKTC) के निलंबित कर्मचारी प्रमोद नौटियाल को कथित दान अनियमितताओं के मामले में गिरफ्तार किया गया है। नौटियाल पहले BKTC के अध्यक्ष के निजी सहायक रह चुके हैं। मंदिर समिति में दान संग्रह प्रक्रिया में वित्तीय गड़बड़ी की जांच के बाद यह गिरफ्तारी हुई है।
