Engineering Student Stabbed in Altercation Discharged From Hospital

A 20-year-old engineering student who sustained life-threatening stab injuries during an alleged altercation with a friend has been discharged from the hospital. The youth was stabbed in front of a mall in New Town, Kolkata, and was initially in critical condition. Doctors performed emergency surgery to repair multiple deep wounds and internal injuries, including damage to vital blood vessels and the airway. After intensive care and recovery, his condition significantly improved, and he will continue receiving speech and swallowing therapy.
