The United Arab Emirates emerged as India's largest supplier of LPG in September, accounting for 39% of total imports. This marks a significant shift, as the UAE supplied 547,000 tonnes, a 182% increase from August, surpassing the United States. The US, previously the leading supplier for six months, saw its shipments drop by 58% to 323,000 tonnes. This change reflects a recovery in supplies from Gulf nations after disruptions caused by US-Iran tensions. Kuwait and Qatar also increased their LPG exports to India.
