AIIMS Nursing Course Applications Surge 11 Times

Applications for AIIMS's BSc Nursing course have seen an eleven-fold increase in five years, reaching 1.82 lakh this year. Similarly, applications for allied health courses at AIIMS have grown eighteen-fold since 2021, with 1.26 lakh applications this year. This surge is attributed to the low fees, ranging from ₹1500 to ₹15000, and these courses serving as a 'Plan B' for students who do not secure admission to MBBS through NEET UG. Many NEET aspirants opt for these AIIMS programs when they don't get into medical college.

एम्स के बीएससी नर्सिंग कोर्स के लिए आवेदन पांच साल में ग्यारह गुना बढ़कर इस साल 1.82 लाख हो गए हैं। इसी तरह, 2021 से एम्स में संबद्ध स्वास्थ्य पाठ्यक्रमों के लिए आवेदन अठारह गुना बढ़कर इस साल 1.26 लाख हो गए हैं। इस वृद्धि का कारण ₹1500 से ₹15000 तक की कम फीस है, और ये कोर्स उन छात्रों के लिए 'प्लान बी' के रूप में काम करते हैं जिन्हें NEET UG के माध्यम से एमबीबीएस में प्रवेश नहीं मिलता है। कई NEET उम्मीदवारों को मेडिकल कॉलेज में प्रवेश न मिलने पर ये एम्स कार्यक्रम चुनते हैं।
