The school principal, warden, and a teacher have been suspended. Police registered a case under the POCSO Act against the hostel cook, who has been arrested.

आंध्र प्रदेश के बाल अधिकार आयोग ने पोलावरम जिले के एक आदिवासी कल्याण स्कूल में नौवीं कक्षा की छात्रा के गर्भवती होने के मामले की जांच का आदेश दिया है। दो महीने की गर्भवती छात्रा का अस्पताल में इलाज चल रहा है। रिपोर्ट के बाद, आयोग ने अधिकारियों को उसकी सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने और कार्रवाई करने का निर्देश दिया। स्कूल के प्रिंसिपल, वार्डन और एक शिक्षक को निलंबित कर दिया गया है।
