India to Achieve Self-Reliance in Defence Production, Says Rajnath Singh

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh emphasized the critical need for indigenous production and technological self-reliance in the defence sector for 21st-century military preparedness. India aims to develop capabilities for manufacturing, maintenance, and modification of its defence equipment. Singh stated that self-reliance means strengthening international cooperation by enhancing technological prowess, not isolation. He highlighted that defence reforms, self-reliance, international collaboration, and defence exports are interconnected and crucial for achieving the goal of a developed India by 2047.

रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने 21वीं सदी की सैन्य तैयारी के लिए रक्षा क्षेत्र में स्वदेशी उत्पादन और तकनीकी आत्मनिर्भरता की महत्वपूर्ण आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया। भारत का लक्ष्य अपने रक्षा उपकरणों के निर्माण, रखरखाव और संशोधन के लिए क्षमताएं विकसित करना है। सिंह ने कहा कि आत्मनिर्भरता का मतलब तकनीकी कौशल को बढ़ाकर अंतरराष्ट्रीय सहयोग को मजबूत करना है, न कि अलगाव। उन्होंने इस बात पर प्रकाश डाला कि रक्षा सुधार, आत्मनिर्भरता, अंतरराष्ट्रीय सहयोग और रक्षा निर्यात आपस में जुड़े हुए हैं और 2047 तक एक विकसित भारत के लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण हैं।
