The countries aim to improve intelligence sharing, trace trafficking routes, and disrupt criminal networks. Efforts will also be made to prevent criminals from exploiting the open border without hindering legitimate movement. Both nations will work to understand and counter extremist networks and the potential exploitation of identities in border regions.

नेपाल और भारत आम नागरिकों को प्रभावित करने वाले सामान्य मुद्दों से निपटने के लिए अपने सहयोग को मजबूत करने के लिए तैयार हैं। मुख्य ध्यान नशीली दवाओं की तस्करी, साइबर अपराध, आतंकवाद और प्राकृतिक आपदाओं की तैयारी से निपटने पर होगा। दोनों देश खुफिया जानकारी साझा करने, तस्करी के रास्तों का पता लगाने और आपराधिक नेटवर्क को बाधित करने का लक्ष्य रखते हैं। अपराधियों द्वारा वैध आवाजाही में बाधा डाले बिना खुली सीमा का दुरुपयोग करने से रोकने के लिए भी प्रयास किए जाएंगे। दोनों राष्ट्र सीमा क्षेत्रों में चरमपंथी नेटवर्क और पहचान के संभावित दुरुपयोग को समझने और उनका मुकाबला करने के लिए काम करेंगे।
