The Election Commission has stated that Aadhaar is not conclusive proof for these details. However, the online application form allows Aadhaar to be uploaded for both age and address verification. Booth-level officers have already submitted positive verification reports for these applications, complicating the situation for officials who are unsure whether to accept them or request additional documents.
