Kharge Asks PM Modi For All-Party Meet

Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to convene an all-party meeting to discuss the revised Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill. The government reportedly plans to reintroduce the delimitation bill soon. The Congress party believes the government may not have the necessary majority for constitutional amendments and is coordinating with other opposition parties on the matter.

कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से संशोधित संविधान (131वां संशोधन) विधेयक पर चर्चा के लिए सर्वदलीय बैठक बुलाने का आग्रह किया है। सरकार जल्द ही परिसीमन विधेयक फिर से पेश करने की योजना बना रही है। कांग्रेस का मानना है कि सरकार के पास संवैधानिक संशोधनों के लिए आवश्यक बहुमत नहीं हो सकता है और इस मामले पर वह अन्य विपक्षी दलों से समन्वय कर रही है।
