India has released the first list of customs duty exemptions on imports from New Zealand under the Free Trade Agreement. Effective, special concessional rates will apply to products like wine, manuka honey, kiwi fruit, and sheep meat. Sheep meat will have zero basic customs duty, while kiwi fruit valued above $2.50 per kg will attract a 15% duty. Several fish varieties will see a 25.71% basic customs duty. These exemptions are part of the India-New Zealand FTA, clarifying rates and conditions for specific goods.

भारत ने न्यूज़ीलैंड के साथ फ्री ट्रेड एग्रीमेंट के तहत आयात पर कस्टम ड्यूटी में छूट की पहली लिस्ट जारी कर दी है। वाइन, मनूका हनी, कीवी फल और भेड़ के मांस जैसे उत्पादों पर विशेष रियायती दरें लागू होंगी। भेड़ के मांस पर बेसिक कस्टम ड्यूटी शून्य होगी, जबकि 2.50 डॉलर प्रति किलो से ज़्यादा कीमत वाले कीवी फल पर 15% ड्यूटी लगेगी। कई तरह की मछलियों पर 25.71% बेसिक कस्टम ड्यूटी लगेगी। ये छूटें इंडिया-न्यूज़ीलैंड FTA का हिस्सा हैं, जो खास सामानों के लिए दरों और शर्तों को स्पष्ट करती हैं।
