A two-and-a-half-year-old girl tragically died in Hyderabad after accidentally ingesting cyanide while playing at a jewellery shop. The incident occurred in the Chintal area of Medchal-Malkajgiri district when the child, Misha, was shopping with her mother. It is suspected that she came into contact with the chemical, commonly used for gold cleaning, and ingested it. Despite being rushed to a private hospital, doctors could not save her life. Police have registered a case against the shop owner, investigating potential negligence in the storage of hazardous chemicals.
