Couple's New Home Built On Wrong Block

A couple in Camperdown, Victoria, discovered their newly purchased retirement home was built on a neighbour's land after spending over $500,000. Melanie and David Moor bought land in 2021 and relocated a four-bedroom house, believing it was on their property. The mistake was only identified in August 2024 by a council officer. After nearly two years of dispute resolution, the house was finally moved to the correct block in April 2026.
