Trichy Corporation Deploys Additional Workers To Combat Dengue Outbreak

Trichy Corporation has intensified fever screening and anti-dengue drives by deploying 20 additional domestic breeding checkers (DBCs) to its existing 60 workers per zone. This proactive measure aims to prevent a dengue fever outbreak, especially as the city has been experiencing heavy rainfall. Corporation Commissioner N Ponmani inspected vulnerable areas and urged residents to segregate waste to prevent illegal dumping. The corporation plans to intensify penalties for violations related to solid waste management and ensure hygiene in storage areas like tyres and tanks.

त्रिची निगम ने प्रति जोन मौजूदा 60 कर्मचारियों में 20 अतिरिक्त डोमेस्टिक ब्रीडिंग चेकर्स (DBCs) को तैनात करके बुखार की जांच और डेंगू रोधी अभियानों को तेज कर दिया है। यह सक्रिय उपाय डेंगू बुखार के प्रकोप को रोकने के उद्देश्य से है, खासकर जब शहर में भारी बारिश हो रही है। निगम आयुक्त एन पोनமணி ने संवेदनशील क्षेत्रों का निरीक्षण किया और निवासियों से अवैध डंपिंग को रोकने के लिए कचरे को अलग करने का आग्रह किया। निगम ठोस अपशिष्ट प्रबंधन से संबंधित उल्लंघनों के लिए दंड बढ़ाने और टायरों और टैंकों जैसे भंडारण क्षेत्रों में स्वच्छता सुनिश्चित करने की योजना बना रहा है।
