Ambedkar Corporation Under Probe Over Rs 14.9 Crore Fraud Allegations

Bengaluru: Following a scam in the Maharshi Valmiki Corporation, the Dr BR Ambedkar Development Corporation (ADCL) is now under scrutiny. The opposition BJP has accused the government of siphoning off Rs 14.9 crore through forged documents and premature closure of fixed deposits. ED filed a complaint detailing how a fictitious account was used to launder funds meant for Scheduled Castes. This alleged fraud comes after a separate Rs 187 crore scam involving funds for the Valmiki community, raising serious questions about financial mismanagement.

बेंगलुरु: महर्षि वाल्मीकि कॉर्पोरेशन में हुए घोटाले के बाद अब डॉ बीआर अंबेडकर डेवलपमेंट कॉर्पोरेशन (ADCL) भी जांच के दायरे में आ गई है। विपक्ष, बीजेपी ने सरकार पर जाली दस्तावेजों और फिक्स्ड डिपॉजिट को समय से पहले बंद कराने के जरिए 14.9 करोड़ रुपये की हेराफेरी का आरोप लगाया है। ईडी ने एक शिकायत दर्ज की है जिसमें बताया गया है कि कैसे अनुसूचित जातियों के लिए रखे गए पैसों को एक फर्जी खाते से निकाला गया। यह कथित धोखाधड़ी वाल्मीकि समुदाय के लिए रखे गए 187 करोड़ रुपये के एक अलग घोटाले के बाद हुई है, जिससे वित्तीय कुप्रबंधन पर गंभीर सवाल खड़े हो गए हैं।
