आंध्र प्रदेश के अन्नमय्या जिले के सरकारी मॉडल स्कूल में 15 साल की 10वीं की छात्रा राजिथा एक लाइव इलेक्ट्रिक तार को छूने के बाद गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गई। यह घटना शनिवार शाम को हुई जब वह गलती से एक क्लासरूम की खिड़की के पास लगे तारों के संपर्क में आ गई। छात्रा के पिता ने स्कूल स्टाफ पर समय पर मेडिकल सहायता न देने की लापरवाही का आरोप लगाया है। स्थानीय लोगों ने हस्तक्षेप किया और उसे एक प्राइवेट अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया, साथ ही स्कूल के इलेक्ट्रिकल सुरक्षा उपायों की जांच की मांग की है।
