V. Ramesh's Sacred Spaces Exhibition Traces Lifetime of Artistic Inquiry

Artist V. Ramesh's solo exhibition, Sacred Spaces, is currently on display at CCA Gallery, Bikaner House. The exhibition showcases his artistic journey, from early figurative depictions of Visakhapatnam fisherfolk in the 1980s and 1990s to his later allegorical and devotional imagery. It presents a sustained inquiry across decades, featuring new canvases and watercolours. The preview event included a performance by Navtej Johar, paying tribute to the artworks. The gathering attracted many prominent figures from Delhi's art world.

कलाकार वी. रमेश की एकल प्रदर्शनी 'सैक्रेट स्पेसेस' फिलहाल बीकानेर हाउस के CCA गैलरी में लगी हुई है। यह प्रदर्शनी उनकी कलात्मक यात्रा को दिखाती है, 1980 और 1990 के दशक में विशाखापत्तनम के मछुआरों के शुरुआती चित्रांकन से लेकर उनकी बाद की रूपकात्मक और भक्तिपूर्ण छवियों तक। यह दशकों तक चली एक निरंतर खोज को प्रस्तुत करती है, जिसमें नई कैनवस और वॉटरकलर शामिल हैं। प्रीव्यू कार्यक्रम में नवतेज जौहर ने कलाकृतियों को श्रद्धांजलि देते हुए एक प्रदर्शन किया। इस आयोजन में दिल्ली की कला जगत की कई जानी-मानी हस्तियां शामिल हुईं।
