Uttar Pradesh Rajya Sabha Polls: No Contest As 2 Independent Candidates' Nominations Rejected

The upcoming Rajya Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh will not see a contest for the 10 available seats. This comes after the nomination papers of two Independent candidates were rejected during the scrutiny process. Consequently, the 10 seats will now be filled by the 8 candidates nominated by the BJP and the 2 candidates put forward by the SP. The lack of competition means these candidates are set to be elected unopposed, simplifying the electoral process for these particular seats.

उत्तर प्रदेश में आगामी राज्यसभा चुनाव में 10 सीटों के लिए कोई मुकाबला नहीं होगा। यह तब हुआ जब जांच प्रक्रिया के दौरान दो निर्दलीय उम्मीदवारों के नामांकन पत्र खारिज कर दिए गए। नतीजतन, 10 सीटें अब भाजपा द्वारा नामांकित 8 उम्मीदवारों और सपा द्वारा आगे लाए गए 2 उम्मीदवारों द्वारा भरी जाएंगी। प्रतिस्पर्धा की कमी का मतलब है कि ये उम्मीदवार निर्विरोध चुने जाने के लिए तैयार हैं, जिससे इन विशेष सीटों के लिए चुनावी प्रक्रिया सरल हो गई है।
