Bombay HC Judges Recuse Themselves From Hearing NIA's Appeal Against Sachin Waze's Bail

A division bench of the Bombay High Court has recused itself from hearing an appeal filed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The NIA is challenging a special court's order that granted bail to dismissed police cop Sachin Waze in the 2021 Antilia bomb scare case. Justices Bharati Dangre and Ashish Chavan stated they had difficulties hearing the appeal due to prior connections. The matter will now be placed before another bench. Waze has not yet been released from jail.

बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट की एक डिवीजन बेंच ने राष्ट्रीय जांच एजेंसी (NIA) द्वारा दायर एक अपील सुनने से खुद को अलग कर लिया है। NIA 2021 की एंटीलिया बम धमकी मामले में बर्खास्त पुलिसकर्मी सचिन वाजे को जमानत देने वाले विशेष अदालत के आदेश को चुनौती दे रही है। जस्टिस भारती डांगरे और आशीष चव्हाण ने कहा कि पूर्व संबंधों के कारण उन्हें अपील सुनने में कठिनाई हो रही थी। अब यह मामला दूसरी बेंच के सामने रखा जाएगा। वाजे को अभी जेल से रिहा नहीं किया गया है।
