बिहार के राजस्व एवं भूमि सुधार विभाग ने कथित लापरवाही और वित्तीय अनियमितताओं के लिए छह पूर्व अंचल अधिकारियों के खिलाफ विभागीय कार्यवाही शुरू की है। मंत्री दिलीप कुमार जायसवाल ने कार्रवाई की सिफारिश की, जिसके बाद एक अधिकारी के खिलाफ एफआईआर दर्ज की गई और अन्य का वेतन वृद्धि रोकी गई। आरोपों में अयोग्य जाति प्रमाण पत्र जारी करना, आदेशों के विरुद्ध म्यूटेशन को मंजूरी देना और भूमि अतिक्रमण को संबोधित करने में विफलता शामिल है। एक अधिकारी पर उप-समाहर्ता के आदेशों के विपरीत म्यूटेशन मामलों को मंजूरी देने का आरोप है, जबकि दूसरे पर एक साल से अधिक समय से म्यूटेशन के मामले लंबित रखने का उल्लेख है।
