Sri Lanka secured a consolation victory in the third T20I against Pakistan by eight wickets, successfully chasing 169 runs with captain Kusal Mendis scoring an unbeaten 87. Despite Mendis's stellar performance and a crucial partnership with Kamindu Mendis, Pakistan had already clinched the three-match series 2-1. Earlier, Pakistan captain Sahibzada Farhan had led his team's innings with a score of 76 runs, but it wasn't enough to secure a series sweep. Both teams now prepare for an upcoming ODI tri-series.
