कानपुर के जिला अधिकारी महेंद्र सिंह तंवर ने विकास भवन के दफ्तरों का अचानक निरीक्षण किया और अधिकारियों को शिकायत निवारण रैंकिंग सुधारने का निर्देश दिया। उन्होंने सार्वजनिक शिकायतों और लंबित मामलों के समय पर निपटारे पर जोर दिया, यह सुनिश्चित करते हुए कि कोई भी मामला अनावश्यक रूप से अनसुलझा न रहे। डीएम ने सरकारी कल्याणकारी योजनाओं के बारे में जानकारी को सार्वजनिक पहुंच के लिए स्पष्ट रूप से प्रदर्शित करने के महत्व पर भी जोर दिया। इसके अतिरिक्त, उन्होंने पारदर्शिता और कुशल सार्वजनिक सेवा वितरण को बढ़ावा देने के लिए कार्यालय की स्वच्छता, व्यवस्थित रिकॉर्ड और उचित बैठने की व्यवस्था बनाए रखने का निर्देश दिया।
