Gadchiroli Faces Drought And Flood Simultaneously

Gadchiroli district in Vidarbha is experiencing a dual crisis, with two talukas notified as drought-hit while another faces severe flooding. Heavy rains in neighbouring Chhattisgarh caused the floods in Bhamragarh, while Gadchiroli and Chamorshi talukas were declared drought-affected for the kharif season. Collector Avishyant Panda described the situation as unique, with drought in two areas and severe flooding in one. The administration has relocated 525 people from flood-affected Bhamragarh to safer locations. Panchnamas are being drafted in the drought-hit areas to assess crop conditions.

गड़चिरौली में एक साथ सूखा और बाढ़ का संकट

विदर्भ के गड़चिरौली जिले में दोहरी मार झेल रहा है, जहाँ दो तालुका सूखाग्रस्त घोषित किए गए हैं वहीं एक तालुका गंभीर बाढ़ का सामना कर रहा है। छत्तीसगढ़ में हुई भारी बारिश के कारण भामरागढ़ में बाढ़ आई, जबकि गड़चिरौली और चामोर्शी तालुका को खरीफ मौसम के लिए सूखा प्रभावित घोषित किया गया। कलेक्टर अविष्यंत पांडा ने इस स्थिति को अनोखा बताया, जिसमें दो क्षेत्रों में सूखा और एक में गंभीर बाढ़ है। प्रशासन ने बाढ़ प्रभावित भामरागढ़ से 525 लोगों को सुरक्षित स्थानों पर पहुंचाया है। सूखा प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में फसल की स्थिति का आकलन करने के लिए पंचनामे तैयार किए जा रहे हैं।
