Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag, celebrating his birthday, had a memorable on-field exchange with Pakistan's Shoaib Akhtar. Akhtar, frustrated by Sehwag's aggressive batting, challenged him to play a hook shot against his bouncers. Sehwag retorted by pointing to Sachin Tendulkar at the non-striker's end, calling him 'your father' and daring Akhtar to challenge him. When Tendulkar came to strike, he powerfully hit Akhtar's bouncer for a six, after which Sehwag famously told Akhtar, 'Son is son, and father is father.'.
