Amritsar's Sri Guru Ram Das Ji International Airport temporarily shut its airspace on Sunday night due to suspected drone activity near the premises. Two flights, one from Delhi and another from Mumbai, were diverted to Chandigarh and Delhi respectively. The airspace closure lasted for over an hour, causing inconvenience to passengers. Preliminary investigations suggest the drones might have been used to film a local kabaddi tournament, despite drone operations being prohibited within an eight-kilometre radius of the airport.
