Kerala Mini Cooper Crash: Police Add Homicide Charges, Minister Vows Action

Kerala Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala has vowed strict action and no interference in the investigation of a fatal Mini Cooper crash near Kochi that killed three young adults. Police have invoked additional charges, including culpable homicide not amounting to murder, against the 19-year-old accused driver, Suhail. The charges carry potential life imprisonment. The accident occurred early Sunday when a speeding Mini Cooper, allegedly driven by the accused under the influence of alcohol, hit a scooter. Three more individuals have been added as accused in the case.
