Swollen Gomti River Floods Lucknow, Disrupting Last Rites & Sports

Lucknow is experiencing significant disruption as the swollen Gomti River floods various parts of the city. Cremation services at Gulala Ghat have been suspended due to water entering the facility, while access to Bhaisakund Dham is also affected. The Gomti Riverfront's access routes are closed, and traffic movement has slowed on the Ekana Stadium-Palassio route. Floodwater has inundated the Khatu Shyam temple, forcing the suspension of darshan, and the Maa Chandrika Devi Temple was closed for three days.

लखनऊ शहर के कई हिस्से उफनती गोमती नदी के कारण बाढ़ की चपेट में आ गए हैं, जिससे जनजीवन अस्त-व्यस्त हो गया है। गुलाला घाट पर पानी घुसने से अंतिम संस्कार की सेवाएं रोक दी गई हैं, और भैसाकुंड धाम तक पहुंचना भी मुश्किल हो गया है। गोमती रिवरफ्रंट के रास्ते बंद कर दिए गए हैं, और इकाना स्टेडियम-पलासियो मार्ग पर यातायात धीमा हो गया है। खाटू श्याम मंदिर में बाढ़ का पानी घुसने से दर्शन बंद कर दिए गए हैं, और मां चंद्रिका देवी मंदिर को तीन दिनों के लिए बंद कर दिया गया है।
