India Assures Safety of 163 Indian Sailors

Amidst rising geopolitical tensions in the Persian Gulf, India has confirmed the safety of its maritime interests. MEA stated that six Indian-flagged ships are safely located near the sensitive Strait of Hormuz. Additionally, 163 Indian sailors are on board six foreign-flagged cargo ships carrying essential goods for India. The Shipping Ministry is closely monitoring their movements. India also reiterated its stance against terrorism and rejected external interference in Jammu and Kashmir at the UNGA.
