NSUI Accuses ABVP of Targeting Minority Institutions During College Exams Protest

Times of India · education

The NSUI Dakshina Kannada unit has condemned the ABVP for protesting at St Agnes (Autonomous) College, a minority institution, over examinations scheduled during the Dasara festival. NSUI functionaries criticised the ABVP for creating chaos and selectively targeting institutions, questioning why a similar protest was not held at Canara College, whose trustees are reportedly from the BJP. NSUI advocates for resolving disputes through dialogue, not hooliganism, and condemned the misuse of religious symbols by ABVP members.
