कश्मीर के मुख्य मौलवी, मीरवाइज उमर फारूक ने अलगाववादी नेता शब्बीर शाह की जमानत याचिका खारिज करने पर गहरी चिंता जताई है। उन्होंने इस फैसले को निराशाजनक और अन्यायपूर्ण बताया। उन्होंने कहा कि शब्बीर शाह को सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा इस साल जमानत दिए जाने के बावजूद, लगभग चार दशकों से बिना किसी दोषसिद्धि के जेल में रखा गया है। मीरवाइज ने शब्बीर शाह के बिगड़ते स्वास्थ्य और तत्काल चिकित्सा देखभाल व पारिवारिक सहायता की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया।
