Delhi Bans Construction From Dec 10 To Jan

Delhi will enforce a complete ban on construction and demolition activities from December 10, 2026, to January 20, 2027, as part of its winter pollution control plan. This measure is among several aimed at curbing air pollution during the peak season. Other initiatives include vehicle restrictions, stricter pollution certificate norms, and staggered office timings. Real estate developers acknowledge the need for pollution control but seek clear guidelines to balance environmental goals with economic impact. The government emphasizes its continuous efforts to ensure clean air for residents.

दिल्ली में प्रदूषण को रोकने के लिए 10 दिसंबर 2026 से 20 जनवरी 2027 तक निर्माण और तोड़-फोड़ के कामों पर पूरी तरह रोक लगा दी जाएगी। यह कदम सर्दियों में हवा की गुणवत्ता को बेहतर बनाने के लिए उठाया जा रहा है। इसके अलावा, गाड़ी चलाने के नियमों में बदलाव, पॉल्यूशन सर्टिफिकेट के कड़े नियम और ऑफिस के समय में फेरबदल जैसे उपाय भी किए जाएंगे। रियल एस्टेट डेवलपर्स मानते हैं कि प्रदूषण कम करना ज़रूरी है, लेकिन वे चाहते हैं कि पर्यावरण और आर्थिक विकास के बीच संतुलन बनाने के लिए स्पष्ट निर्देश दिए जाएं। सरकार का कहना है कि वह लोगों को साफ हवा देने के लिए लगातार कोशिश कर रही है।
