A thick orange smog has descended upon Palangka Raya in Indonesia's Kalimantan region, with witnesses capturing videos of the haze. The air pollution index exceeded 1,200, more than four times the hazardous level of 300. This toxic smog is choking millions across Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia. Authorities are partly blaming the 'slash and burn' agricultural method for exacerbating the intense haze. The wildfires continue to rage nearby, contributing to the severe air quality.
