Walmart Programme Protects Over 2.2 Million Acres

Walmart's Acres for America programme, launched in 2005, has conserved over 2.2 million acres of wildlife habitat across the United States. The initiative, a partnership with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, has supported 138 projects. Walmart has committed over $100 million to the programme, generating more than $1 billion in conservation impact. The initiative aims to protect critical habitats, connect existing protected lands, and support communities dependent on natural resources.
