The Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia is set to become the world's tallest building, surpassing the Burj Khalifa with a planned height of over 1,000 meters. This mixed-use skyscraper will feature residential apartments, commercial and office spaces, a luxury hotel, and the world's highest observation deck. With 318 apartments and 182 hotel rooms planned, it aims to function as a vertical city. High-speed elevators, some reaching 10 meters per second, will be crucial for transporting people within the 167+ planned floors.
