Indian government bonds experienced their worst session in over two months on Thursday, with the benchmark 10-year yield climbing 6 basis points to 7.1067%. This decline tracked a surge in US Treasury yields and rising oil prices, fueling expectations of a hawkish stance from the Reserve Bank of India. India imports about 90% of its crude oil, making it vulnerable to price swings.
