Mumbai batter Ayush Mhatre has suffered a hamstring injury again, just five months after recovering from a similar issue. Mhatre sustained the injury during his comeback Ranji Trophy match against Chandigarh, where he scored 48 runs but couldn't field. He had previously injured his left hamstring in April 2026 while playing for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. After a five-month rehabilitation at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence, he returned to play, only to get injured again.
