Uttarakhand Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya has filed an FIR against her husband, Girdhari Lal Sahu, alleging domestic violence, cheating by hiding his first marriage, illicit relations, casteist abuse, and death threats. Arya, a BJP MLA from Almora and Minister for Women and Child Welfare, shared a tearful video expressing concern for her and her children's safety. The FIR, filed on October 15, includes charges under the SC-ST Act and sections related to criminal intimidation based on an alleged audio recording of a murder plot.
