Ahmed Kutty Chembikkal, a 51-year-old member of the Kuttippuram grama panchayat, was killed after reportedly being hit by a train near his home. His body was discovered beside the railway tracks following an alert from a passing train's loco pilot. Chembikkal was the chairman of the panchayat welfare standing committee and held various positions within the Congress party and local mosque. His wife, Faseena, is a former president of the Kuttippuram grama panchayat. The body was taken to the Government Taluk Hospital for inquest and post-mortem.

कुट्टिपुरम ग्राम पंचायत के सदस्य, 51 वर्षीय अहमद कुट्टी चेंबिक्कल, कथित तौर पर अपने घर के पास ट्रेन की चपेट में आने से मारे गए। एक गुजरती ट्रेन के लोको पायलट की सूचना के बाद उनका शव रेलवे ट्रैक के किनारे मिला। चेंबिक्कल पंचायत कल्याण स्थायी समिति के अध्यक्ष थे और कांग्रेस पार्टी व स्थानीय मस्जिद में विभिन्न पदों पर थे। उनकी पत्नी, फसीहा, कुट्टिपुरम ग्राम पंचायत की पूर्व अध्यक्ष हैं। शव को पोस्टमार्टम और जांच के लिए सरकारी तालुका अस्पताल ले जाया गया।
