Bharat Biotech's CRDMO arm, Nucelion Therapeutics, has partnered with VeGen Bio to develop and manufacture VL-2511, India's first dual-target CAR-T cell therapy for multiple myeloma. The collaboration aims to advance the therapy into Phase 1 and 2 trials, with commercialization targeted by 2028. Nucelion will serve as the manufacturing partner, leveraging its GMP facility in Hyderabad. This partnership seeks to build India's capacity for advanced cell therapies, making treatments more accessible and affordable for patients.
